Hello! I’m Dina Lima, MBA, Broker/Owner of Valencia Properties and a bilingual Realtor® based in Fort Worth, Texas.
As a Real Estate Broker with broad knowledge of the housing industry, I am delighted to assist with your real estate needs in the beautiful state of Texas, particularly in the Dallas–Fort Worth area.
I began my real estate career as a home builder, working closely with families to design and build their beautiful, custom, energy-efficient homes. Through that experience, I learned how much we love to personalize our spaces for comfort, functionality, and renewal.
Having served many homebuyers and sellers, I understand that buying and selling property can feel emotionally stressful because of the many decisions involved and the complex process that can sometimes be confusing. As an active professional in the housing industry, I strive to be a reliable resource for my clients.
I am a member of national, state, and local real estate associations that hold Realtor® designees to a high ethical standard and advocate for laws and policies that benefit homeowners.
In addition to enjoying my real estate career, I am also a Christian minister, Bible teacher, and author, helping people find peace in everyday life. As a lifelong learner, I enjoy reading and writing about topics related to spiritual and personal growth.
Decorating and organizing my home is my favorite way to unwind. I also enjoy long walks with my husband, deep conversations over dinner, speaking at women’s conferences in Hispanic congregations and small groups, cooking my delicious creamy chicken recipe, and savoring my husband’s addictive Shalom Tea and his signature homemade New York steak with a Salvadoran twist that honors our Central American heritage.
I believe that homeownership promotes stability, comfort, and a powerful sense of personal accomplishment. That’s why I love what I do.

- Worked in the IT industry as a database programmer in the health and airline sectors, which trained me to be methodical and detailed in everything I do.
- Owned and operated my home construction company, Emerald Luxury Homes, Inc., building high-performance homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.
- Built the Savvy Idea Home 2006 in partnership with Building Savvy Magazine.
- Co-wrote the white paper Stand Out From the Pack for Green Building Advisor.
- Co-wrote the white paper Thinning the Herd for Green Building Advisor.
- Earned an “Exemplary New Home” Award from the Greater Fort Worth Spring Tour of New Homes.
- Taught home-building and business courses for the National Association of Home Builders.
- Served as a founding builder member of Green Built Texas, where I helped design the green building guidelines for residential construction in north central Texas. I also designed the beautiful logo, which is still in use today. To date, GBT has over 33,500 homes by 95 builders registered under the program, searchable in the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) system used by thousands of Realtors in Texas every day.

Fun Facts About "Valencia"
Valencia Properties is named in honor of my Hispanic heritage. Valencia comes from the word “valentia” in Latin, which means “valor” or “strength.” Valencia is also the name of one of the oldest and third-largest cities in Spain, where the famous Paella dish was born. I bring my Hispanic heritage, friendly approach, and community values into my business and client relationships.
